Ready-to-play desktop for 4K gaming

This ASUS ROG Strix Helios GX601 White system arrives assembled with Windows 11 Home and a 360mm liquid cooler already installed. The 16-core Ryzen 9 9950X3D processor runs at a 4.3GHz base frequency on the AM5 platform. An RTX 5080 graphics card with 16GB GDDR7 memory drives the visual output. It targets enthusiasts who want maximum frame rates without building from parts.

Sustained-load behaviour from liquid cooling

The 360mm liquid cooler keeps the 16-core CPU at stable temperatures during extended sessions, avoiding the throttling common with air towers under continuous load. A 1000W power supply feeds both the processor and the RTX 5080 without hitting its limit. This combination maintains consistent boost clocks across long renders or marathon matches rather than dropping after a short burst.

4TB NVMe plus 2TB HDD decides the storage ceiling

The 4TB NVMe SSD holds the operating system, active projects and a large game library at PCIe speeds. A 2TB SATA III HDD adds bulk capacity for media archives and backups. If your workflow needs more than six terabytes of fast primary storage, this configuration cannot expand the NVMe portion without replacing the drive.

Questions about this item

How does the 360 mm liquid cooler handle the Ryzen 9 9950X3D under sustained all-day load?

The 360 mm liquid cooler is designed to keep the 16-core Ryzen 9 9950X3D at its 4.3 GHz base frequency during extended sessions, moving heat away from the CPU more efficiently than air coolers of the same footprint.

What display connection does the RTX 5080 require that my current monitor must provide?

The GeForce RTX 5080 uses a PCI Express x16 slot internally and outputs video through its own DisplayPort and HDMI ports, so your monitor needs at least one compatible DisplayPort or HDMI input.

Can I keep my existing SATA III hard drives alongside the 4 TB NVMe SSD and 2 TB HDD already installed?

Yes, the motherboard includes additional SATA III ports, so any current SATA III drives you own can be connected alongside the factory 2 TB HDD and 4 TB NVMe SSD.
