VivoBook 15 S513 for everyday work

The ASUS VivoBook 15 S513 is a 15.6 inch laptop built for students and office users who need a portable machine for documents, web browsing and video calls. It ships with Windows 10 Home in S mode and an 8-core AMD Ryzen 7 4700U processor running at a base frequency of 2.0 GHz with a boost up to 4.1 GHz. The NanoEdge display has an 85% screen-to-body ratio.

12GB DDR4 2666 memory limit

The single specification that decides fit is the 12GB of DDR4 2666 memory soldered to the board with a maximum supported capacity of 16 GB. This leaves only a small headroom for future upgrades, so buyers who anticipate heavy multitasking or virtual machines should verify that 12 GB meets their workload before purchasing.

Fingerprint reader and WiFi 6

The bundled fingerprint reader integrated into the touchpad enables Windows Hello sign-in without typing a password, while WiFi 6 (802.11 ax) and Bluetooth 5.0 provide faster, more stable wireless connections in crowded environments. A full-size backlit keyboard with numeric keypad and a Micro SD card reader complete the feature set.
