VivoBook 17.3" laptop with 20GB RAM and 4TB SATA SSD

This ASUS VivoBook S712JA-WH54 is a 17.3-inch laptop powered by an Intel Core i5-1035G1 processor running at 1.00GHz with a 3.6GHz turbo frequency. It combines 20GB of DDR4 memory with a 4TB SATA SSD and runs Windows 10 Pro on a Full HD IPS display. The silver chassis includes a backlit keyboard, fingerprint reader, Wi-Fi 6 AX201 and Bluetooth 5.1 connectivity.

Suited for office work.

The integrated Intel UHD Graphics and 60Hz panel make this machine a poor fit for gaming, 3D rendering or colour-critical creative work. Buyers who need discrete graphics, a higher refresh rate or a touchscreen should look at a different class of device.

Questions about this item

Will the 17.3" FHD IPS display and USB 3.2 Gen1 ports work with my older USB 2.0 peripherals and external monitor?

The laptop includes two USB 2.0 ports and one HDMI output, so existing USB 2.0 devices and an external monitor connect directly; USB 3.2 Gen1 ports are backward compatible with USB 2.0.

How can I verify the 20GB DDR4 memory (4GB onboard + 16GB SODIMM) and 4TB SATA SSD are recognised after first boot?

Open Task Manager > Performance to confirm 20GB total memory and 4TB storage capacity; Device Manager will list the Intel UHD Graphics and Wi-Fi 6 AX201 adapter as additional checks.

What accessories are included in the box and what must I purchase separately for full connectivity?

The package provides the laptop, 45W power adapter, and documentation; cables for HDMI, USB Type-C, or Micro SD cards are not included and must be bought separately if needed.
