17.3" VivoBook with 4 TB SATA SSD

This ASUS VivoBook S712JA-WH54 laptop pairs a 10th Gen Intel Core i5-1035G1 processor with 8 GB of DDR4 memory and a 4 TB SATA SSD. The 17.3 inch Full HD IPS display runs at 1920 x 1080 resolution. Windows 11 Pro 64-bit is pre-installed on the system.

Suits office work and media viewing.

The four-core CPU and integrated Intel UHD graphics handle everyday productivity, web browsing and video playback. Buyers who need discrete graphics performance for 3D rendering, modern gaming or GPU-accelerated editing should look at a different machine. The 8 GB memory configuration also limits multitasking with large datasets.

Single USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-C port for data only

Connectivity includes one USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-C port, one USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-A port, two USB 2.0 ports, HDMI and a microSD reader. The Type-C port does not support video output, so external displays must use the HDMI connection. Wi-Fi 6 AX201 and Bluetooth 5.1 provide wireless links.

Questions about this item

What comes in the box and do I need to buy anything extra to start working?

The laptop ships with a 45 W power adapter and Windows 11 Pro installed. No extra parts are required for basic use.

Should I pick the 8 GB DDR4 model or is there a larger memory option listed?

Only the 8 GB DDR4 configuration (4 GB onboard + 4 GB SO-DIMM) is shown; no higher-capacity version appears in the specifications.

How does the 3.6 GHz turbo frequency behave when the 10th Gen Core i5 is inside a real machine?

The processor can reach 3.6 GHz on short bursts, but sustained speeds depend on the 47 Wh battery and thermal design of the 17.3 inch chassis.
