Right-angle USB4 cable for tight spaces

This AUBEAMTO U4A cable uses a 90-degree right-angle USB-C connector on both ends. The design keeps the cable close to the device chassis, making it practical for cramped desk setups, dock connections or portable external SSD use where a straight plug would bend or snag.

40 Gbps bandwidth with 100 W power delivery

The cable moves data at up to 40 Gbps and carries up to 100 W (20 V / 5 A) of USB Power Delivery. That headroom handles single 8K at 60 Hz or dual 4K at 60 Hz video streams plus fast charging for laptops. It runs out of video bandwidth beyond dual 4K or single 8K, and it cannot exceed the 100 W charging ceiling.

Built-in e-marker chip for Thunderbolt 3

An integrated e-marker chip certifies the cable for Thunderbolt 3 and Thunderbolt 4 hosts, ensuring the full 40 Gbps link negotiates correctly. Without that chip a host may fall back to lower speeds, so the e-marker is the single specification that decides whether this part works at its rated performance.

Questions about this item

Will this 40Gbps USB4 cable work with my older Thunderbolt 3 dock and USB 3.2 external SSD?

Yes, the cable is backward compatible with Thunderbolt 3 and USB 3.2 devices, so your dock and SSD will operate at their native speeds when connected through this cable.

How can I verify the cable is delivering 40Gbps data and 100W charging after I plug it in?

Check your laptop’s system report or the dock’s status utility — they should show a 40Gbps link rate and 20V/5A power delivery when the cable is connected to supported ports.

The pack says 2 cables — does it include any adapters or do I need to buy a USB-A adapter separately?

The box contains two 1ft USB-C to USB-C cables with 90° right-angle connectors; no USB-A adapters or other accessories are included, so you would need to purchase those separately if required.
