USB4 40Gbps cable with right-angle connectors

This two-pack of USB4 cables delivers 40Gbps data transfer and 100W power delivery. Each cable features a 90-degree right-angle USB-C plug for tight spaces. They support single 8K at 60Hz or dual 4K at 60Hz video output when the host and display support DP Alternate Mode.

Check host port and display capabilities

Verify that your laptop or dock provides a USB4 or Thunderbolt 3/4 port with DP Alternate Mode for video. The monitor must also accept video over its USB-C input. For charging at 100W, both the power source and the device must support 20V/5A PD. Backward compatibility covers USB 3.2 and 3.1 devices at their native speeds.

Suits users needing angled high-speed links

Ideal for connecting external SSDs, eGPUs or docking stations where a straight plug blocks adjacent ports. The right-angle design reduces strain in cramped setups. Not for buyers who need longer reach than four feet, or who require active optical cables for runs beyond passive copper limits.

Questions about this item

What comes in the 2-pack and do I need any extra adapters?

The pack contains two 4-foot USB-C to USB-C cables with 90-degree right-angle connectors; no additional adapters are required for USB-C or Thunderbolt 3/4 ports.

Both cables are identical — is there any reason to pick one over the other?

Both cables share the same 40 Gbps data rate, 100 W power delivery and 8K 60 Hz video support, so either cable works for the same devices and use cases.

Will I actually see 40 Gbps speeds when I plug this into my laptop and external SSD?

The cable is rated for 40 Gbps and includes an e-marker chip, but real-world throughput depends on the host controller, SSD and file sizes; it will not exceed the slowest link in the chain.
