What the speakers are and who they suit

The Audio-Technica AT-SP3X are compact bookshelf speakers rated at 30 watts maximum output. They deliver full-range audio through 76mm driver units and 27mm tweeter units covering 55Hz to 20000Hz. Bluetooth 5.3 with multipoint pairing lets two devices stay connected wirelessly. The pair is designed for desktop or shelf placement where a simple, powered stereo solution is preferred.

What to check on your existing setup

Ensure your source device supports Bluetooth 5.3 or has a wired RCA output to match the dual RCA pin plug inputs. The system requires a mains socket for the included AC adapter, which comes with four international plug adapters. A 6.6-foot speaker cable links the two cabinets, so verify the distance between your intended speaker positions. Operating temperature range is 41 to 104 degrees Fahrenheit.

Behaviour under sustained load

The 30-watt amplifier drives both cabinets continuously within the stated frequency response. Extended playback at high volume keeps the drivers within their 55Hz to 20000Hz range without additional cooling requirements. The corded electric power supply maintains stable output during long sessions. Multipoint pairing remains active so switching between two paired sources does not interrupt the audio stream.

Questions about this item

What comes in the box and do I need any extra cables to start using the AT-SP3X speakers?

The box contains both speakers, an AC adapter with four international plug adapters, a 2.0 m speaker cable to link the pair, eight rubber feet, and the user documentation. No extra cables are required for basic wired or Bluetooth 5.3 operation.

The specs list 76 mm woofers and 27 mm tweeters — which version or capacity should I choose for a small living room?

There is only one AT-SP3X model; it uses two 76 mm woofers and two 27 mm tweeters per channel in a fixed 30 W stereo configuration, so no capacity choice exists.

What does the 30 W power rating actually deliver when the speakers are placed on a shelf in a typical room?

The 30 W maximum output drives the dual 76 mm woofers and 27 mm tweeters to produce a 55 Hz – 20,000 Hz frequency response, giving full-range stereo sound at normal listening levels in a small to medium room.
