Access control terminal for small offices

The Audiovox nFace128 combines facial, fingerprint and IC card verification in one unit. A 4-inch HD binocular camera handles low-light conditions with automatic fill light. It stores up to 1000 user faces and 100000 event records, fitting typical small-company headcounts. New condition ensures full manufacturer specification.

Network-ready device with local backup

TCP/IP connectivity links the terminal to existing LAN infrastructure for real-time data exchange. A USB port accepts U-disks for offline upload and download of user data and logs. No additional reader modules are required because face, fingerprint and card functions are built in. The device needs a standard network drop and power source at the mounting point.

Consistent identification under daily traffic

The multi-modal algorithm processes facial and fingerprint data quickly during repeated authentications. Automatic light adjustment maintains accuracy across changing ambient conditions throughout the day. Large record capacity prevents log overflow during extended unattended operation. The terminal is not suited for sites requiring more than 1000 enrolled users or multi-factor policies beyond the three built-in methods.

Questions about this item

How many access records can the nFace128 store before it must be cleared?

The terminal holds 100000 records, so it can log months of daily traffic before you need to offload or delete older entries.

Does the unit run hot or make noticeable fan noise during continuous operation?

The specifications list no cooling fan or thermal rating, so the device relies on passive dissipation and remains silent in normal indoor use.

What identification media must we already have for the three verification modes to work?

You need enrolled fingerprints, registered face templates and compatible IC cards; the terminal itself does not create or issue any of those credentials.
