4.3-inch Touch Access Terminal

The Audiovox zFace1300 is a 4.3-inch touchscreen terminal for employee access control and time attendance. It serves small to medium organisations that need biometric verification at entry points. The unit combines facial, fingerprint and IC card recognition in one device. It suits offices, factories and campuses seeking a single door controller.

IP65 Build with TCP/IP and USB

The enclosure meets IP65 protection, resisting dust and water jets for indoor or sheltered outdoor mounting. A 4.3-inch touchscreen provides the daily interface for enrolment and status checks. Standard TCP/IP connects the terminal to the local network for real-time logs. A USB flash-drive port allows offline data transfer when network cabling is not practical. Optional WiFi can be added where wiring is difficult.

4,000 User Capacity Decides Fit

The terminal stores up to 4,000 faces, 4,000 fingerprints and 4,000 IC cards with 300,000 event records. Buyers whose workforce exceeds 4,000 identities cannot use this model. Sites requiring more than 300,000 stored transactions before offload also need a larger unit. The 4,000-user ceiling is the single figure that determines whether this terminal matches the deployment.

Questions about this item

How does the TCP/IP interface limit real-time data transfer on the zFace1300?

The terminal uses standard TCP/IP for network communication, capping transfer speed at the local network's Ethernet bandwidth; USB flash drive provides an offline alternative for bulk record uploads.

What physical space and protection rating does the zFace1300 require for wall mounting?

The unit fits a standard single-gang back-box and carries an IP65 rating, so it can be surface-mounted indoors or in sheltered outdoor locations without extra sealing.

Which verification step is most often missed during initial enrolment on the zFace1300?

After registering a face or fingerprint, the administrator must assign the user to an access group and time schedule before the terminal will grant entry; skipping this leaves the credential active but unauthorised.
