Flat Braided Design for Clean Runs

The AUTYUE Cat 8 cable is a 33 ft flat braided Ethernet cord built for home and office networks. Its thin profile allows it to slip under carpets and along baseboards without bulges. Gold plated RJ45 connectors on both ends fit any device with a standard RJ45 port.

Shielded S/FTP Construction Reduces Crosstalk

Four shielded foiled twisted pairs and an aluminum foil layer suppress interference from adjacent cables and equipment. The cotton braided jacket adds mechanical strength while staying flexible. In normal use the passive cable draws no power and produces no noise.

Backward Compatible Upgrade from Older Categories

This cable replaces Cat 5e, Cat 6 or Cat 7 runs when 40 Gbps and 2000 MHz headroom are needed for gaming, streaming or large transfers. The jump is worth it when the router, modem and network card already support multi gigabit speeds. It will not improve throughput if the rest of the link remains at gigabit.

Questions about this item

How do I route the 33 ft flat braided cable through a doorway without damaging the 26 AWG conductors?

Lay the flat cable along the floor or baseboard, then close the door gently on it; the thin profile prevents pinching the four shielded twisted pairs inside the cotton braid.

Will the 24 k gold-plated RJ45 contacts need cleaning or replacement over time?

The gold plating resists oxidation, so the contacts typically never need cleaning; only replace the cable if the aluminum connector housing cracks or the braid frays.

At what point does the 2000 MHz bandwidth limit appear during sustained 40 Gbps transfers?

The 2000 MHz rating is the cable's certified maximum; sustained 40 Gbps traffic stays within that limit, so the cable itself does not become the bottleneck.
