Splitter with Audio Extraction

The AUTYUE HDMI splitter takes one source and sends the same picture to two displays at once. It also pulls the sound out through optical Toslink and 3.5 mm sockets so speakers or a receiver can be used even when the source has no dedicated audio output.

Optical and Analogue Outputs

Audio leaves the box in three selectable modes covering DTS 5.1, Dolby Digital, DD+, AC3, DSD, PCM and LPCM. The 3.5 mm jack mutes automatically when a digital stream is present, preventing accidental double output.

4K 60 Hz with Downscaling

Bandwidth reaches 18 Gbps for 3840 x 2160 at 60 Hz with 4:4:4 colour at 8 bits or 30 Hz at 12 bits. A built-in scaler can drop the signal to 1080p for older screens, but the unit only mirrors content and cannot drive two different images.

Questions about this item

Will the aluminium housing need any thermal paste or fan replacement over time?

The aluminium housing is a passive heatsink with no moving parts or thermal interface that degrades, so no maintenance or replacement is required.

Does the 18 Gbps bandwidth limit 4K 60 Hz 4:4:4 output when both displays run continuously?

Yes, 18 Gbps caps the signal at 4K 60 Hz 4:4:4 8-bit; sustained use cannot exceed this bandwidth.

How warm does the metal case get and is there any fan noise during all-day operation?

The fanless aluminium enclosure runs silently; it becomes warm to the touch but stays within normal operating temperature.
