Capture Dock for Handheld Consoles

The AVerMedia GC515Black X'TRA Go is a capture dock built for handheld gaming devices. It records gameplay directly from the console at 4K 30 FPS or 1080p 120 FPS without requiring a computer connection. This unit suits content creators and streamers who want a portable, all-in-one solution for capturing and sharing footage on the move.

Plug-and-Play Recording Setup

Installation is straightforward: connect the handheld to the dock via HDMI, attach a power source for the 65W PD charging, and press the single record button to start capturing. No driver installation or PC software configuration is needed for standalone operation. The main friction point is ensuring the handheld supports HDMI video output and that the storage media used for recording has sufficient write speed for the selected resolution.

Check Handheld Compatibility and Power Needs

Before ordering, verify that your specific handheld console provides a clean HDMI output signal without HDCP encryption blocking capture. Confirm the device can accept 65W USB Power Delivery charging through its port while simultaneously outputting video. Ensure you have a compatible USB-C power adapter capable of supplying 65W to run the dock, charge the console, and maintain recording stability.
