Capture Card for 4K Streaming

The AVerMedia Live Gamer Ultra S is a USB capture card built for creators who want to record or stream gameplay at up to 4K60 or 1080p240. It accepts HDMI input from consoles such as PS5, PS5 Pro, Xbox and Nintendo Switch and delivers uncompressed RGB 24 video to a PC, Mac or iPad for use with OBS Studio, Streamlabs or Discord.

Ideal for Single-Screen Streamers

This device suits streamers who monitor their broadcast through the OBS preview, where latency can be as low as around 35 ms, and who value plug-and-play operation without external power or driver installation. It is not for users who require internal PCIe capture, multi-channel audio mixing hardware, or capture beyond the stated 4K60 and 1080p240 limits.

Check Host Compatibility First

Verify that your system runs Windows 10 or 11, macOS 13 or 14, or iPadOS 17 or later, and that you have an available USB port with sufficient bandwidth for the chosen resolution. Ensure your source device can output 4K60 HDR or VRR if you plan to use pass-through, and that your recording software supports the ultra-wide resolutions of 3440x1440 or 2560x1080.
