Custom Printable Tab Inserts

Avery 1136 inserts let office workers and home organisers label hanging file folders with laser or inkjet printed text on both sides. The pack contains one hundred white paper inserts sized one-half by two inches for one-fifth cut tabs. Users can also handwrite or type directly on the blank surface.

Check folder compatibility first

Verify that your hanging file folders use one-fifth cut plastic tabs measuring one-half by two inches because the inserts are cut to that exact format. Plastic tabs are not included in the pack so they must already be present on the folders. Ensure your printer accepts the supplied sheet layout before printing a full batch.

Paper inserts fit existing tabs

Each insert is made from standard white paper stock and folds side by side for double-sided viewing. The lightweight sheets add negligible bulk to the folder while the precise die-cut ensures a snug fit inside the plastic tab channel. Free Avery templates simplify alignment for quick, repeatable printing.
