2-Inch Clear Hanging File Tabs — 100 Pack

This pack supplies 100 transparent PVC tabs and 200 white paper inserts for standard hanging folders. Each tab measures 2 inches wide and uses a pit-and-angle design to hold inserts firmly in place. The set suits offices, classrooms or home filing systems that need quick visual identification. Durable plastic construction resists cracking during daily handling.

Check Folder Compatibility Before Ordering

Verify that your existing hanging folders accept 2-inch-wide tabs with a 3-by-1.2-by-0.4-inch profile. The inserts are 2-by-0.6 inches, so handwritten or printed labels must fit within that area. The tabs mount at the top of the folder; confirm your rails or hooks match this orientation. No adhesive or tools are required for installation.

Replaces Worn or Missing Tabs on Active Files

These tabs upgrade folders that have cracked, yellowed or lost their original labels, restoring instant readability. The jump is worth it when misfiled documents slow retrieval or when a growing archive needs consistent, legible markers. Buyers who need coloured tabs, pre-printed labels or heavier card-stock inserts will not find those options in this pack.

Questions about this item

How do the 2‑inch wide tabs differ from narrower options for hanging folders?

Will the 3 x 1.2 x 0.4 inch tabs fit my standard hanging file rails?
