Anti-Slip Tread Tape 2" x 10' Roll

Avery 115944 Anti-Slip Tread Tape is a black adhesive roll measuring two inches wide by ten feet long. The tape uses an epoxy glue system and a waterproof construction to deliver durable traction on wet or slick surfaces. It is designed for indoor and outdoor safety applications.

Suited for safety upgrades on ladders steps ramps

This tape suits homeowners facility managers and DIYers who need permanent non-slip protection in high-traffic or wet zones. Buyers requiring a nontoxic certified material or a wider roll for large industrial flooring should consider other options.

Ten-foot roll covers multiple step treads

The ten-foot length provides enough material for several standard steps or a ladder section with a single roll. Projects needing continuous runs longer than ten feet or covering broad deck areas will require additional rolls.

Questions about this item

Does the 2" wide roll require any primer or special cleaner before I stick it to a wood deck?

The tape uses an epoxy adhesive; clean the surface so it is dry and free of oil or dust, then press firmly — no separate primer is needed.

If I apply this over existing painted steps, will the 10-yard length cover a standard flight?

At 2 inches wide by 10 yards long the roll gives 30 linear feet of coverage; measure the total tread depth you need to protect and compare.

How can I confirm the waterproof grit is still effective after the first rain?

Step on the wet tape wearing shoes — if your soles grip without sliding, the aluminum-oxide surface is working as intended.
