The Avision AD8130zN is a duplex production scanner built for organisations that capture large batches of paperwork every day. A 500-page automatic document feeder and a rated daily duty cycle of 60000 pages let it run continuously in mailrooms, archives or service bureaus. It accepts sheets up to 11.7 by 17 inches and connects through USB 3.2 Gen1x1 or RJ45 network.

Dual CIS with ultrasonic and staple detection

Two contact image sensors illuminate both sides of a sheet at once, reducing shadows on wrinkled or folded originals. Three ultrasonic sensors detect overlapping pages and can be tuned to ignore labels or attachments. Staple detection halts the feed instantly when metal fasteners are sensed, protecting both the document and the rollers.

130 ppm throughput with 600 dpi optical resolution

At 130 pages per minute or 260 images per minute the scanner clears a full 500-page hopper in roughly four minutes while maintaining 600 dpi detail. Operation draws under 92 watts and stays below 55 decibels; ready mode drops to 17 watts and 25 decibels. The Windows driver stack covers XP through 10 and outputs BMP, PNG, JPEG, multi-page PDF, TIFF, RTF, TXT, XPS, DOC, XLS, PPT and modern Office formats.
