The Canon imagePROGRAF TX-Series Z36 scanner attaches directly to compatible imagePROGRAF printers and operates independently of the print engine. It handles documents up to 36 inches wide with a maximum optical resolution of 1200 dpi and an interpolated maximum of 9600 dpi. SingleSensor Technology Assembly captures consistent colour accuracy and detail across shadows and highlights. Quiet front-load operation

The face-up, front-load paper path feeds originals from the front and exits them at the rear without requiring the printer to run. Because the scanner draws power through the printer connection, it adds no separate power supply or fan noise to the workspace. The compact, lightweight head assembly is smaller than earlier Canon scanner modules, keeping the combined footprint low. An included AIO controller centralises management for unattended batch jobs.

Sustained batch throughput

Independent scanner operation lets the printer continue producing output while the Z36 digitises the next set of originals, so sustained throughput is limited by document handling speed rather than print-head cooling pauses.
