Rack Mounting Kit for HMX 50006000

This kit mounts a single HMX 50006000 unit into a standard 19 inch rack. It occupies one rack unit of vertical space. The hardware suits data-centre or server-room installations where the HMX device must be secured in a standard cabinet.

Thermals noise and power

The mounting kit is a passive mechanical assembly with no fans, power circuitry or active cooling. It adds no audible noise and draws no electrical power. Airflow through the rack depends on the installed HMX unit and the cabinet ventilation design.

Questions about this item

How do I mount the RMK-82 kit into a standard 19" rack?

The RMK-82 is a 1U rack-mounting kit designed for a single HMX 50006000 unit. Secure the supplied brackets to the device sides, then fasten the assembly into the 19" rack rails using the cage nuts and screws provided.

What hardware might need replacement if I relocate the HMX 50006000 to a different rack later?

The kit includes cage nuts and mounting screws sized for 19" racks. If the new rack uses a different thread pattern or rail depth, you will need replacement cage nuts and screws that match that rack specification.
