Axiom 1000BASE-ZX SFP Module

The Axiom 1000BASE-ZX SFP transceiver provides single-mode fibre connectivity for Cisco switches and routers. It supports 1000 Mbps data rates over extended distances. The module includes Digital Optical Monitoring for real-time link diagnostics. It is built for network engineers who need reliable long-haul links.

Hot-pluggable SFP simplifies installation

The hot-pluggable SFP form factor allows insertion or removal without powering down the host device. Pre-configured OEM compliance avoids firmware mismatches that can prevent the link from coming up. Verify that the switch port is licensed for third-party optics before deployment. Single-mode fibre and LC connectors must match the existing cabling plant.

Check the switch port status for a 1000 Mbps link light and verify the DOM read-outs show receive power within the expected range for the installed fibre.
