Axis M1137-E MK II outdoor bullet camera

The Axis M1137-E MK II is a fixed bullet network camera built for outdoor surveillance. Its IP66 and IK10 ratings mean it resists heavy rain, dust and physical impact. Silver coloured housing weighs 6.0000 units and blends into building facades. The camera delivers high-resolution video for detailed monitoring day and night.

Suited for exposed perimeters and vandal-prone sites

Installers needing a rugged, single-lens bullet for building exteriors, loading bays or public spaces will find the specifications match. Buyers who want motorised zoom, multi-sensor coverage or built-in infrared illumination should look at alternative models. The fixed focal length limits flexibility for wide-area overviews. Indoor-only projects may not require the heavy-duty enclosure.

IP66 and IK10 environmental protection

The defining specification is the combined IP66 and IK10 rating that certifies the camera against powerful water jets and severe mechanical impact. This rating decides whether the unit survives the intended mounting location. No other single figure in the data sheet carries as much weight for deployment decisions.

Questions about this item

Will the 1137 MK II mount on the same brackets I used for an older Axis camera?

The 1137 MK II uses standard Axis mounting patterns, so existing Axis brackets are compatible.

How do I confirm the 1137 MK II is recording correctly after installation?

Log into the camera web interface and check the live view; verify the timestamp, motion detection overlay and SD card status show active recording.

Does the 02486-001 box include a PoE injector or do I need to buy one separately?

The box contains the camera, mounting hardware and a quick guide; a PoE injector or PoE switch is not included and must be sourced separately.
