  • Tight 8x8 weave gives long-lasting durability
  • Waterproof polyethylene shields boats, cars and campers from wind, rain and sun

  • Aluminium grommets every 36 inches allow secure tie-downs
  • Hemmed size 9.1' x 13.4' provides generous coverage

10 x 14 ft Polyethylene Tarp

This blue tarp measures ten by fourteen feet and uses a true eight-by-eight weave of polyethylene fibres. It is five mils thick and has aluminium grommets spaced every thirty-six inches along the reinforced hem. The sheet is designed as a lightweight, waterproof cover for general outdoor protection.

Campers and homeowners needing a quick cover

The tarp suits anyone who wants a portable, water-resistant barrier for boats, vehicles, campers or emergency roof patching. It is not suited for buyers who need a heavier industrial-grade membrane or a larger sheet for wide-span structures. Builders requiring fire-retardant material should look elsewhere.

Covers up to nine by thirteen feet usable area

The hemmed dimensions are nine point one by thirteen point four feet, giving enough surface to shelter a small boat, car or pickup bed. It handles wind, rain and sunlight for temporary use but runs out of coverage for larger equipment or permanent roofing jobs. The five-mil thickness limits long-term abrasion resistance.

Questions about this item

What tie-down hardware do I need to use the grommets spaced every 36 inches?

You need rope, bungee cords or tie-down straps that fit through the built-in aluminum grommets to secure the tarp.

Will the hemmed size of 9.1 x 13.4 feet still cover the frame of my older 10 x 14 foot canopy?

The finished tarp measures 9.1 by 13.4 feet, so it will be smaller than a 10 x 14 foot frame and may not fully cover it.

How can I confirm the polyethylene weave is holding up after I secure it?

Check that the grommets remain firmly seated in the reinforced border piping and that no tears appear along the hemmed edges.
