10 ft x 10 ft Super Heavy Duty Tarp

This brown polyethylene tarp measures 10 ft by 10 ft at finished size. It weighs 8.0 oz per square yard with a 16 mil thickness and 16x16 weave count. The sheeting is laminated on both sides for waterproof, acid-resistant and tear-resistant performance. UV treatment maintains flexibility in cold conditions.

Check grommet spacing and tie-down points

Rustproof aluminum grommets sit approximately every 18 inches along the perimeter and at reinforced corners. Verify that your frame, vehicle or structure offers anchor points matching this spacing. Ensure the surface underneath is free of sharp edges that could puncture the material despite its tear resistance.

Sustained outdoor exposure and load handling

The high-density fabric is designed for continuous indoor and outdoor use across all weather conditions. Reinforced corners and hem distribute tension evenly during prolonged wind or snow loads. UV treatment prevents brittleness over time while the laminate resists acid runoff and moisture without delamination.

Questions about this item

Does the 10 ft x 10 ft tarp include ropes or bungee cords, or must they be purchased separately?

The tarp comes with rustproof aluminum grommets spaced approximately every 18 inches and at reinforced corners for tie-downs; ropes or bungee cords are not included and must be bought separately.

How do I choose between the 8 oz per square yard weight and the 16 mil thickness when deciding if this tarp is right for my job?

The 8 oz per square yard weight and 16 mil thickness describe the same heavy-duty fabric — 16x16 weave count polyethylene laminated on both sides — so they are not separate options to choose between.

Will the finished-size 10 ft x 10 ft measurement hold true once the tarp is stretched over a frame in cold weather?

The tarp is finished size so it measures close to or exactly 10 ft x 10 ft, and the polyethylene stays flexible even in arctic-like conditions, helping it maintain coverage when stretched.
