Wireless presentation gateway streams content from laptops and mobile devices to room displays over dual-band 802.11n at 300 Mbit/s
The Barco CSM-1 connects a meeting room display to user devices for wireless content sharing. It supports the ClickShare Button and a mobile app so presenters can put their screen on the main display with a single action. The unit handles all processing locally and allows up to two people to show content simultaneously. It is built for huddle spaces and small conference rooms that need simple, driver-free collaboration.
The access point uses IEEE 802.11n on both 2.40 GHz and 5 GHz bands to balance range and throughput in typical office environments. Power comes from an included AC adapter so the base unit runs without drawing current from the display or a network switch. Normal operation is quiet and cool enough for tabletop or ceiling placement near the room screen.
The 802.11n link tops out at 300 Mbit/s, which sets the practical ceiling for video quality and latency when mirroring a desktop or streaming from a mobile device. Buyers who need higher throughput for 4K streaming or more than two simultaneous presenters should look for a model with a faster PHY rate.

Connect the Base Unit to the room display via its fixed video link, plug in the AC adapter, then pair each USB-powered Button by inserting it into a PC or Mac and running the ClickShare application — the pairing step is the one most people skip.
The two USB-powered Buttons are the only moving parts; expect to replace them if the USB connectors wear out or the enclosures crack from daily handling.
Only two Buttons can share content on-screen at the same time, so a third presenter must wait for a slot to become free.
