What it is and who it serves

The BARSKA AD12570 is an angled spotting scope with a 20x to 60x zoom range and a 60mm objective lens. It is built for birders, hunters and outdoor observers who need variable magnification in a single unit. A table-top tripod, pouch, cleaning cloth and lens covers are included in the package.

Build quality and daily handling

The scope body is waterproof and fogproof, with fully multi-coated BAK-4 prism optics for bright, crisp images. The angled eyepiece allows comfortable viewing from a seated or prone position. The supplied table-top tripod provides a stable platform on flat surfaces, while the soft pouch protects the instrument during transport.

What to verify before ordering

Check that a 12-inch angled form factor fits your preferred carrying method and mounting surface. The field of view narrows from 94.5 feet at 20x to 52.5 feet at 60x, so consider whether the reduced wide-angle coverage at high zoom suits your typical observation distance. No full-size tripod adapter is mentioned in the supplied accessories.

Questions about this item

What magnification range does the 20-60x60 scope provide?

The scope offers variable zoom from 20x to 60x, letting you scan wide at low power and zoom in for detail at high power.

What tripod is included and how does it mount?

A table-top tripod is supplied; the angled body has a standard 1/4-20 socket that threads directly onto the tripod head.

How do you focus the angled eyepiece and what mistake should you avoid?

Rotate the central focus wheel until the image is sharp, then fine-tune with the diopter ring; the common error is leaving the diopter at zero instead of matching your eye.
