Matched condenser pair for stereo recording

This kit includes two matched Behringer C-2 Dark Edition condenser microphones, a rugged carry case, two compact tripod tabletop stands and two 25' XLR cables. The capsules are factory-matched for balanced stereo capture, making the bundle suitable for home-studio vocal and instrument sessions.

Suits solo recordists and small project studios

The cardioid polar pattern rejects off-axis sound, so the set works well for single-source vocals or acoustic instruments in untreated rooms. Buyers who need multiple simultaneous sources, boundary miking or a different polar pattern should look at other configurations.

20 Hz to 20 kHz frequency response

The quoted 20 Hz to 20 kHz range covers the full audible spectrum, letting you judge whether the pair captures the low-end weight and high-end detail your recordings require.

Questions about this item

How does the cardioid polar pattern behave when I record for hours at a time?

The cardioid pattern continues to reject off-axis sound consistently, keeping background noise low even during extended sessions

Will the microphones or cables add noticeable heat or noise to my desk after a full day of use?

Passive condenser capsules and balanced XLR cables produce no audible self-noise or heat, so the setup stays silent and cool

What phantom-power source do I already need to make the matched pair work?

An audio interface or mixer with balanced XLR inputs supplying standard phantom power is required for both microphones
