25 ft Cat 5E patch cable

The Belkin A3L791-25-ORG is a 25 ft Category 5e patch cable with RJ-45 male connectors on both ends. It is built for wired network links between computers, routers, switches and other Ethernet devices. The orange PVC jacket helps identify the run in a busy rack or desk setup. It suits home offices, small businesses and anyone extending a wired connection.

Snagless connectors simplify installation

Each end uses an RJ-45 plug with an integrated strain-relief boot that protects the latch during routing. The internal load bar keeps conductor alignment consistent for reliable termination. Copper conductors and PVC jacketing meet IEEE 802.3 specifications. No tools are required; press each connector until the latch clicks. Avoid sharp bends or excessive tension that can damage the conductors.

Verify port type and required length

Confirm both devices present standard RJ-45 Ethernet ports before ordering. Measure the actual path the cable will follow, including slack for strain relief, to ensure 25 ft is sufficient. This cable carries Cat 5e performance; it does not support higher category speeds or longer runs beyond its rating. Check that orange colour coding matches your labelling scheme.
