What this cable does

The Belkin A3L980B03-S is a Category 6 patch cable built for wired network links between routers, switches, computers or other RJ-45 devices. It suits home offices, small-business desks or temporary test benches where a short, reliable run is needed.

Snagless boots and moulded strain relief

Each end carries a snagless moulded boot that protects the locking tab from catching on adjacent cables or panel edges. The moulded strain relief absorbs bend stress at the connector junction, reducing the chance of intermittent contact after repeated insertion or routing through tight trunking.

Fixed three-foot length and unshielded construction

The grey jacket measures exactly three feet end to end, so slack is minimal on crowded patch panels or desktop switches. Unshielded twisted-pair construction keeps the cable light and flexible for routing through cable trays or under doors, while the standard RJ-45 male plugs on both ends ensure universal compatibility with any Gigabit Ethernet port.
