16-Port IP KVM with 17-Inch LCD

This BFKK unit combines a 17-inch LCD console and a 16-port KVM switch in a single 1U rack-mountable drawer. It provides secure local and remote IP administration for up to 16 servers over LAN or WAN. The integrated display supports video resolutions up to 1280 x 1024 pixels.

Suited for admins needing BIOS-level remote control

Network administrators who require BIOS-level interaction and full boot-process control over TCP/IP will benefit from this appliance. It is not intended for environments that need remote IP control over cascaded servers, as cascaded units can only be managed locally.

1280 x 1024 maximum console resolution

The built-in 17-inch LCD panel tops out at 1280 x 1024 resolution, which determines the highest video quality available at the local console. If your servers output higher resolutions, they will be scaled down to this limit for on-screen viewing.

The unit measures 480×600×45 mm and fits a standard 19 inch rack. Mounting depth adjusts from 60 cm to 81 cm; the supplier notes the best fit at 81 cm.

Which consumable parts will need replacement over the life of this KVM console?

The integrated 17 inch LCD panel and its backlight are the primary components that may require replacement after extended use. The 16 included KVM cables can also wear at the connectors.

What is the first limitation I will hit when running 16 servers continuously through this switch?

The 1280×1024 resolution ceiling and single IP remote session limit appear first; cascaded servers beyond the local 16 ports cannot be IP-controlled.
