1U Vented Cantilever Rack Shelf

The BFKK 1U vented cantilever shelf mounts in any 19-inch rack or cabinet. It provides a fixed platform for IT, network or AV gear where a full-depth shelf is not required. The unit ships disassembled so the lip can face up or down to suit the installation.

Suits shallow equipment in standard racks

Installers who need a lightweight shelf for patch panels, switches or small appliances will find the 152 mm usable depth adequate. The 44-pound load rating covers most single devices. Buyers who need deeper support for full-size servers or heavier chassis should look at a full-depth or four-post alternative.

Simple assembly with included hardware

Four M6 screws with cage nuts and four M5 screws with nuts are supplied for 19-inch mounting. The disassembled design reduces ear damage during transit and lets the installer choose lip orientation. The only common issue is ensuring the chosen lip direction matches the equipment before final tightening.

Questions about this item

What rack standard must my cabinet follow for this 1U cantilever shelf to mount?

The shelf fits any 19-inch rack or cabinet using the included M6 and M5 hardware.

Will the 44-pound load rating still apply if I keep legacy 1U patch panels on the same rails?

The 44-pound capacity is for the shelf itself; total rail load depends on the rack manufacturer's limit.

How can I confirm the vented shelf is seated correctly after assembly?

Verify the shelf sits level at 1U height, the lip faces the chosen direction and all four screw sets are tight.
