SKU CH-27NF-117ZF

Outdoor Cat 7 bulk cable runs 328 ft with SFTP triple shielding, 24 AWG conductors, 600 MHz bandwidth and 10 Gbps speed, plus 20 RJ45 connectors

Size 328ft

  • Waterproof PVC sheath with ANSI certification withstands harsh outdoor conditions
  • SFTP triple shielding with individual pair foil and braid minimises interference and crosstalk
  • 328ft bulk cable includes 20 RJ45 connectors for custom-length installations
  • 24AWG solid conductors deliver stable signal integrity over long runs
  • 600MHz bandwidth supports 10Gbps speeds for high-performance networking

Outdoor Cat 7 bulk cable

This 328-foot Cat 7 cable is built for permanent outdoor runs. The PVC jacket carries ANSI certification for UV resistance and waterproofing so it survives direct burial and harsh weather without degrading. It suits installers and homeowners who need a single spool they can cut to exact lengths for cameras, access points or buried links between buildings. Buyers who need a pre-terminated patch cord or a shorter indoor-only cable should look elsewhere.

SFTP triple shielding at 600 MHz

Each of the four twisted pairs carries its own aluminium foil shield and an overall braided shield sits on top of the common foil. The construction is rated to 600 MHz and supports 10 Gbps throughput, keeping crosstalk and external interference low enough for high-speed intranet and smart-home traffic. No higher category rating or different shielding scheme is claimed.

DIY termination with 20 RJ45 plugs

The bulk reel includes twenty RJ45 connectors so you crimp each cut length yourself. A suitable crimp tool and basic wiring knowledge are required; mis-wired or poorly crimped ends are the most common cause of link failures. The 24 AWG conductors are standard for Cat 7, but the jacket is stiffer than indoor cable, so allow extra slack when routing through conduit.

Questions about this item

What does 10Gbps mean for a 328ft run in my network?

The cable is rated for 10Gbps up to 600MHz bandwidth, so a full 328ft length can carry 10Gbps Ethernet without signal loss if connectors are terminated correctly.

How does the SFTP triple shielding and Cat 7 rating limit real-world speed?

SFTP shielding with individual foil per pair plus an overall braid suppresses crosstalk and EMI, letting the Cat 7 cable sustain its 600MHz 10Gbps rating in noisy outdoor or buried runs.

What do I need to mount or bury this 24AWG bulk cable?

The 24AWG solid-core cable has a UV-resistant, waterproof PVC jacket rated for direct burial; use the 20 supplied RJ45 plugs for field termination and standard cable clips or conduit for securing.
