  • 24 AWG conductors and 600 MHz bandwidth deliver stable high-speed data

Outdoor Cat 7 cable for permanent runs

This 200 ft Cat 7 outdoor Ethernet cable is built for permanent exterior installations. The ANSI certified PVC sheath resists UV, water, cold and heat so the link stays reliable year round. It suits anyone wiring cameras, access points or a garage router without replacing cable every season.

Triple shielded SFTP with 24 AWG conductors

Each twisted pair carries its own aluminum foil shield and a braided overall shield to suppress crosstalk and external noise. The 24 AWG solid cores keep attenuation low across the full length. Twenty RJ45 plugs are included so you can cut exact lengths and terminate on site without buying separate connectors.

Replaces unshielded or indoor patch leads

Swapping a standard UTP patch cord for this shielded bulk roll eliminates intermittent drops caused by EMI near power lines or motors. The jump is worth it when the run passes through conduit, along siding or underground where moisture and interference degrade lesser cable.

Questions about this item

Will the 200 ft length stay within the 10 Gbps channel limit for Cat 7?

The reel is 200 ft long and rated for 10 Gbps at 600 MHz; the length is within the standard channel distance for Cat 7.

Does the SFTP triple shielding keep the cable cool and quiet during all-day PoE runs?

The cable has no active parts so it produces no noise; the PVC sheath is UV-resistant and waterproof, and the 24 AWG conductors handle typical PoE currents without overheating.

What tools or parts do I need before I can terminate the included RJ45 plugs?

You will need an RJ45 crimp tool compatible with 24 AWG shielded plugs; the package supplies 20 connectors and the bulk cable for free cutting to length.
