Blue outdoor Cat6 ethernet cable on spool with 25 cable ties

BFKK

BFKK Cat6 Outdoor Ethernet Cable 150FT 24AWG CCA UTP Direct Burial LLDPE UV 25 Ties

SKU CH-89EJ-AAJ7Y

150 ft outdoor-rated Cat6 cable with 24 AWG CCA conductors, LLDPE UV-resistant jacket for direct burial, and 25 cable ties included

  • 150 ft length covers long outdoor runs
  • 550 MHz bandwidth supports up to 10 Gbps speeds
  • Double LLDPE and PVC jacket resists UV and moisture
  • 25 cable ties included for secure installation
  • 24 AWG CCA conductors with four twisted pairs

Outdoor Direct Burial Cable

The BFKK Cat6 outdoor Ethernet cable is built for direct burial and aerial runs where standard indoor cable would fail. Its double-layer jacket combines an LLDPE outer skin with an inner PVC layer to resist UV, moisture, frost and soil chemicals across 150 feet of continuous length.

Upgrade From Indoor Patch Cords

Replace single-jacket indoor patch cords when the route crosses exterior walls, conduit or open ground. The jump is worth it whenever the cable must survive temperature swings, standing water or direct sunlight without degrading signal integrity.

Practical Limits Of Cat6 UTP

Unshielded twisted-pair construction caps performance at 550 MHz bandwidth and 10 Gbps over short distances; longer runs drop to 1 Gbps. The rigid 24 AWG CCA conductors resist kinking but make tight bends and frequent re-termination difficult compared with stranded indoor cable.

Questions about this item

What jacket material and length let this cable survive direct burial?

The 150-foot cable uses a double-layer jacket with an outer LLDPE UV-resistant layer over an inner PVC layer, designed for direct burial and extreme weather.

How do I install the cable and connectors without damaging the solid conductors?

Terminate the 24AWG solid copper-clad aluminium conductors with RJ45 plugs rated for solid wire, avoid sharp bends, and test the link with a router before burying.

When should I plan to replace the cable ties or re-inspect the burial run?

The 25 included UV-resistant ties secure the run; inspect them and the jacket annually after freeze-thaw cycles or ground movement.
