Cat6a Slim Patch Cable 24 Pack

This 24-pack of Cat6a slim Ethernet patch cables is built for data-centre racks, enterprise closets and home labs that need many short, high-density links. Each 2 ft cable uses 28 AWG stranded bare copper and is rated for 10 Gbps performance with Fluke-tested compliance to ANSI TIA 568.2 D.

Installers needing airflow and density

The cables are over 50 % thinner than standard Cat6 patch cords, easing routing in tight spaces and improving rack airflow for high-density installations. Buyers who require runs longer than 15 metres or bundles larger than 12 cables for PoE applications should select a different gauge or length.

2 ft length limit for 28 AWG

Maximum recommended length for 28 AWG patch cables is 15 metres, making the 2 ft length ideal for patch-panel-to-panel jumps, modem-to-router links or switch-to-server connections within a single rack.

Questions about this item

What comes in the 24-pack and do I need anything else to use them?

The pack contains twenty-four 2 ft yellow Cat6a slim patch cables with snagless plugs; no extra parts are required for standard connections.

How do I decide between the 2 ft length and other lengths for my rack?

Choose 2 ft for short patch-panel links in server rooms; the supplier notes 6 in cables are typical there, while longer runs must stay under 15 m for 28 AWG cable.

What does the 10 Gbps rating mean when the cables are installed in a real switch?

The cables support up to 10 Gbps data rates and PoE up to 60 W per cable, provided no more than 12 cables are bundled together.
