External Power Button

The BFKK external PC power switch adds a remote on/off button with a two metre cable so you can start or shut down a desktop tower from across the room. It connects to the motherboard power-switch and HDD-LED headers and includes an adhesive-backed plate for mounting on a desk or wall. Ideal for builders whose case sits under a desk or inside a cabinet where the front panel is hard to reach.

Upgrade From Front Panel

This accessory replaces the need to press the case’s own power button when the chassis is positioned out of arm’s reach. The jump is worth it when cable routing or furniture layout makes the original button inconvenient, or when a test bench or open-air build has no front panel at all. The included splitter cable keeps the original front-panel switch functional alongside the new remote button.

Check Motherboard Headers

Before ordering, verify that your motherboard exposes a standard two-pin POWER SW header and a two-pin HDD LED header with the same pin spacing used by the supplied connectors. Ensure there is a clear path for the two metre cable to run from the mounting location to the board without strain. The adhesive plate requires a clean, flat surface for reliable attachment.
