Hydraulic Crimping Tool 12 AWG to 2/0

This hydraulic crimping tool handles wires from 12 AWG to 2/0 AWG for battery cables, welding cables and electrical installations. It delivers up to 100KN of crimping force using an 8-ton hydraulic mechanism. The tool is built for professional use across a wide range of heavy-duty applications.

Heat-Treated Alloy Steel Jaws 180° Swivel

The tool features heat-treated alloy steel jaws and a high-pressure piston pump for industrial-grade durability. A compact head swivels 180° to reach tight or awkward spaces easily. An innovative reset spring-assisted handle allows one-handed operation while a non-slip grip reduces fatigue during extended use.

9-Piece Hexagon Die Set Included

The kit includes nine durable hexagon dies covering 12, 10, 8, 6, 4, 2, 1/0 and 2/0 AWG plus a 1/8 die for stainless steel wire rope. Enhanced die guides prevent misalignment during each crimp cycle. Buyers who need dies outside this AWG range or a powered pump unit will need a different tool.

Questions about this item

What wire gauge range does the 8-ton hydraulic crimper handle?

The tool crimps wires from 12 AWG to 2/0 AWG using the included 9-piece hexagon die set.

What physical space does the swivelling head need to operate?

The compact head rotates 180° to work in tight spaces; allow enough clearance for the handle swing and die set.

How is the crimper primed for one-handed use?

Pump the spring-assisted handle until the dies fully close on the terminal, then release — skipping full closure gives a weak crimp.
