It covers 24 to 14 AWG wire and handles open-barrel contacts from Molex .093, MX150, MLX and AMP Mate-n-Lok or FASTON families. The kit suits automotive, marine, appliance and hobby-electronics wiring jobs.

Capacity and headroom

Three interchangeable jaw sets crimp 2.8, 3.5, 3.9, 4.8 and 6.3 mm pitch terminals, while the adjustable ratchet locks at the correct pressure for each size. The tool stops at 14 AWG upper limit and does not accept insulated barrels or larger gauge cable. Very fine wire below 24 AWG falls outside the calibrated range.

Tin-plated copper terminals

Included male and female spade connectors in .110, .187 and .250 inch widths are stamped from tin-plated red copper for corrosion-resistant conductivity.
