Classroom-Ready 40-Pack

The BIC MPP40MJ mechanical pencil comes in a 40-count pack with 0.7 mm medium points. It is intended for students, teachers and anyone stocking a backpack, pencil case or classroom supply drawer for the school year.

Consistent Medium Point

The 0.7 mm lead advances with a click and resists breaking during long writing sessions. Graphite lays down cleanly, erases without smudges and stays sharp without a sharpener, so notes and test sheets remain legible from first period to last.

Refillable Plastic Barrel

Each pencil uses a lightweight plastic barrel measuring 2.8 x 14.4018 x 15.494 cm and weighing 0.259 kg. The retractable tip protects pockets and cases, while the replaceable lead and eraser extend the useful life of every unit in the pack.

Questions about this item

Does the 0.7 mm lead smudge or need frequent sharpening during all-day writing sessions?

The medium 0.7 mm graphite is formulated to be smudge-resistant and erases cleanly without leaving marks, while the mechanical design stays sharp without any sharpening needed.

What refills are required to keep the 40-count pack working once the original lead and erasers run out?

Each pencil is refillable and retractable, so you only need standard 0.7 mm lead refills and replacement erasers to continue using the same barrels.

Will these pencils feel different from older BIC mechanical pencils I already have in the drawer?

They use the same 0.7 mm medium point and Xtra Smooth break-resistant lead, so the writing experience matches earlier BIC mechanical pencils you may already own.
