A 256GB M.2 2280 internal SSD with PCIe 3.0 x4 NVMe interface delivering up to 3600MB/s read and 1850MB/s write using 3D TLC NAND
The Biostar M760 is a 256GB internal solid-state drive built in the M.2 2280 form factor. It uses 3D TLC NAND and an NVMe controller to deliver faster storage for everyday computing and gaming workloads.
The drive connects through a PCIe 3.0 x4 link, which caps its maximum sequential read at 3600MB/s and write at 1850MB/s. Performance will not exceed these figures even if the motherboard supports a newer PCIe generation.
This model replaces a 2.5-inch SATA SSD and can be up to 10 times faster in sequential transfers. The jump is worth it when the system has an M.2 slot wired for PCIe 3.0 x4 and the user wants shorter load times without adding a heatsink.

The M760-256GB is the single capacity listed for this model at 256GB.
It is the maximum sequential read speed the controller can reach on a PCIe 3.0 x4 link; real-world speeds depend on the motherboard, workload and thermal conditions.
The drive uses a PCIe 3.0 x4 NVMe connection, so its 3600MB/s read and 1850MB/s write ceilings are set by that generation's bandwidth.
