25 ft Cat 6 Patch Cable

This 25-foot Category 6 patch cable connects network devices with RJ-45 male connectors on each end. It uses stranded copper conductors and gold-plated contacts, built with molded boots and a snagless design. The orange jacket provides easy colour coding in busy racks or workstations. RoHS compliant and backed by a two-year limited warranty.

Ideal for Standard Gigabit Links

Suited for home offices, small-business networks or temporary patching where a single 25 ft run is required. Buyers needing longer distances, shielded construction or higher-category performance should consider other options. The stranded design favours flexibility over the rigidity preferred for permanent in-wall installation.

25 ft Length Determines Fit

The fixed 25-foot length is the critical specification that decides whether this cable reaches between your devices without excess slack or tension. Measure the exact path before ordering, as the cable cannot be shortened or extended without re-termination.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the 25 ft orange Cat 6 cable or a different length?

Pick the 25 ft orange Cat 6 cable when your network device sits roughly that distance from the switch or router; a shorter run reduces slack, while a longer one adds unnecessary coil.

What does the Cat 6 rating mean for my home network?

Cat 6 supports Gigabit Ethernet speeds up to 1 Gbps over the full 25 ft run, so your router, PC or NAS will negotiate the link at line rate without the cable being the bottleneck.

How do the RJ-45 connectors and stranded wire affect daily use?

The gold-plated RJ-45 plugs on both ends resist corrosion, the snagless boots protect the locking tabs, and the stranded conductors keep the patch cable flexible for routing around desks or through cable management.
