Black Box Cat6A Stranded Bulk Cable

This 1000-foot Cat6A bulk cable uses stranded conductors and a CM-rated PVC jacket. It is tested to 650 MHz and carries the Black Box Innovations branding. The reel supplies installers with continuous length for custom patch leads or horizontal runs.

Suited for installers building PoE patch cords

The stranded construction makes it flexible for patch-cord termination, while the CM rating limits use to in-wall or riser spaces that accept CM cable. It is not for buyers who need plenum-rated jacket, shielded pairs or a shorter pre-terminated assembly.

Tested to 650 MHz bandwidth

The 650 MHz sweep frequency is the single figure that confirms the cable meets Cat6A performance class. If your project specification demands a different verified bandwidth, this reel will not match that requirement.

Questions about this item

What does the 650 MHz bandwidth mean for real-world throughput?

The 650 MHz bandwidth exceeds the Cat6A minimum, providing headroom for 10 Gigabit Ethernet signals over the full 100 metre channel length.

How does the CM rating affect where this cable can be installed?

The CM rating means the cable is approved for general in-wall and horizontal runs inside a building, but not for plenum spaces or riser shafts.

What physical space does the 1000 ft bulk reel need for storage and pulling?

The 1000 ft reel contains stranded conductors in a blue PVC jacket, supplied as a continuous length for cutting to exact runs on site.
