7 ft Cat6 Ethernet Cable

This 7 ft Category 6 patch cable uses double-shielded S/UTP construction for reliable network connectivity in noisy data center and desktop environments. Blue jacket color aids quick identification among other cables. Molded RJ-45 male connectors on both ends provide strain relief for frequent moves.

Suited for shielded Cat6 runs

Ideal for installers who need a short, shielded Cat6 link at 250 MHz between switches, servers or workstations. Not suited for buyers who require longer runs, unshielded UTP cable, or cables rated for in-wall plenum spaces.

Double-shielded S/UTP construction

The foil-and-braid shield blocks EMI in dense racks and near power equipment where unshielded cable would drop packets. Stranded conductors keep the 7 ft length flexible for patch-panel routing.

Questions about this item

What does the 250 MHz rating mean for everyday network use?

The 250 MHz bandwidth meets the Cat6 standard, supporting reliable Gigabit Ethernet connections over the full 7 ft length.

How does the S/UTP shielding and CM jacket affect where I can run this cable?

Double shielding reduces interference in noisy environments, while the CM rating suits general in-room and desktop routing.

Will the moulded RJ-45 plugs fit a standard keystone jack or switch port without blocking adjacent ports?

The moulded RJ-45 connectors are standard width, fitting any Cat6-compatible keystone, patch panel or switch port.
