Single-Head DVI KVM Receiver

The Black Box Emerald SE receiver delivers a single-head Full HD DVI signal, USB 2.0 and bi-directional analogue audio over IP to one remote user. It is built for operators who need desktop-quality access to a computer housed in a data centre or cloud rack.

1920 x 1200 Resolution and 328 ft CATx Reach

The unit supports resolutions up to 1920 x 1200 and extends a point-to-point link over CATx cable to 328 ft or 100 m. Over an IP or WAN connection the range reaches 426.51 ft, while transparent USB 2.0 handles keyboards, mice and other peripherals without compression artefacts.

Matrix-Ready Scaling to 32 Endpoints

Multiple transmitters and receivers connect to an Emerald or IP switch to form a matrix that scales to 32 endpoints without a separate management appliance. Virtualisation support covers VMware, Hyper-V and Citrix via RDP 8.1 RemoteFX, letting administrators reach physical and virtual machines from the same console.

Questions about this item

Will the Emerald SE receiver work with my existing DVI monitor and USB 2.0 peripherals?

The receiver supports Full HD DVI-D up to 1920 x 1200 resolution and transparent USB 2.0, so your current DVI display and USB 2.0 devices connect directly without adapters.

How can I verify the link is performing at the rated 426.51 ft distance?

Check the on-screen display for a stable 1920 x 1200 signal, confirm USB 2.0 peripherals respond without lag, and verify bi-directional audio plays clearly at both ends.

Does the box include CATx cabling for a 328 ft point-to-point run, or must I supply it?

The receiver unit ships alone; CATx cable for up to 328 ft point-to-point extension is not included and must be purchased separately.
