NIAP 3.0 certified single-port DVI-I USB KVM switch with CAC support, anti-tamper protection and resolutions up to 3840 x 2160 at 30 Hz
The Black Box SI1P-SH-DVI-UCAC is a NIAP 3.0 certified KVM defender designed for single-head DVI-I workstations that require Common Access Card authentication. It provides absolute isolation between the connected computer and the console peripherals. This unit targets government or defence users who must prevent data leakage across classification boundaries while operating at resolutions up to 2560 x 1600 at 60Hz.
Before ordering, confirm that your source system outputs a DVI-I signal compatible with the 29-pin female connector and that the display accepts the same interface. The switch passes USB 1.1 keyboard and mouse data only through two Type B console ports and two Type A computer ports; higher-speed USB devices will not function. An external 12-VDC power supply is included and required for operation.
The device operates without fans, relying on passive dissipation within an ambient temperature range of 32 to 104°F (0 to 40°C) and humidity up to 80% non-condensing. With only a single computer connection and USB 1.1 signalling, power draw remains minimal and acoustic output is silent. Anti-tamper features such as hologram seals and chassis intrusion detection add physical security without thermal impact.

The box contains the 1-port DVI-I KVM switch, a 12 VDC power supply with US power cord, and a quick start guide. You must supply your own DVI-I cable for the monitor and USB Type A to Type B cables for the computer keyboard, mouse and CAC reader connections.
The series is also offered with DisplayPort 1.2 and HDMI 2.0 video interfaces, and the CAC option is available on those variants. The DVI-I version shown here supports one computer and one monitor at 2560 x 1600 @ 60 Hz or 3840 x 2160 @ 30 Hz with an HDMI-to-DVI adapter.
The switch passes native DVI-I signals up to 2560 x 1600 at 60 Hz without scaling. If your source outputs 3840 x 2160 you will need an active HDMI-to-DVI adapter and the refresh rate will be limited to 30 Hz. USB 1.1 limits keyboard and mouse traffic to low-speed endpoints.
