DCI 4K Streaming Encoder

This hardware encoder streams DCI 4K video at up to 60 fps using H.264 and H.265 codecs. It transmits via SRT or RTMP protocols for live production workflows. Front-panel buttons and a spin knob provide direct control over streaming parameters. USB-C supports phone tethering and webcam output for flexible connectivity.

Capacity and headroom

The unit handles DCI 4K resolution at 60 frames per second with dual codec support for efficient bandwidth use. It runs out of headroom when workflows demand resolutions beyond DCI 4K or frame rates exceeding 60 fps. Single-stream encoding limits simultaneous multi-platform delivery without external distribution. Recording to local media is not a function of this device.

Build integration

SDI and HDMI monitor outputs feed confidence displays or downstream switchers directly. USB-C enables internet bonding through a tethered phone and presents the stream as a webcam source to computers.
