Converts HDMI to IP and USB 3.0 UVC with H.264/H.265 encoding up to 1920x1080 at 60/50fps and AAC-LC audio
The BZBGEAR BG-STREAM-NE converts a single HDMI source into simultaneous IP streams and USB 3.0 UVC output. It is built for live producers, integrators and remote‑collaboration teams who need reliable encoding without a host PC. The unit handles 1920x1080p at 50 or 60 fps using H.264 or H.265 compression. Audio is encoded as AAC‑LC at 48 KHz with a configurable bit rate from 32 to 384 Kbps.
The package includes a DC power adapter, yet the RJ45 port also accepts Power over Ethernet so a separate supply is optional. A built‑in web interface lets you configure streaming protocols — RTSP, RTMP, HLS, TS, SRT, NDI HX and Dante AV‑H — without extra software. USB 3.0 Type‑B UVC support means the encoder appears as a standard camera to conferencing and recording apps. Real‑time mode recording captures the incoming signal instantly for immediate playback.
Verify that your HDMI source outputs 1920x1080p at 50 or 60 fps; higher resolutions or frame rates are not supported. Ensure your network infrastructure can sustain the chosen bit rate and that any managed switches allow the required multicast or unicast traffic for the selected protocols. If you plan to use UVC, confirm the host system has a free USB 3.0 Type‑B port and recognises UVC devices natively. Dante AV‑H integration requires a Dante‑enabled network and controller software.

The USB 3.0 Type-B port uses standard UVC protocol so most operating systems recognise it without extra drivers; firmware updates are delivered through the web UI when released.
The encoder tops out at 1920x1080p at 60fps using H.264 or H.265 compression, so sustained throughput is limited by that maximum encoding ceiling.
The compact metal chassis relies on passive cooling; with PoE or the DC adapter it stays warm but silent during continuous 1080p60 operation.
