Bullet camera for HD-SDI systems

This 720P HD-SDI bullet camera delivers a default 720P 30FPS signal and can be switched to 1080P resolution for higher detail. It uses a fixed 3.6mm lens and runs on 12V DC power. The white housing suits visible outdoor or indoor mounting where an analog HD infrastructure is already in place.

Thermal and power profile

The camera operates from a 12V DC supply with no active cooling, so it runs silently in normal use. Power draw stays low because there are no moving parts or built-in heaters. Infrared LEDs activate automatically for night vision without adding audible noise or measurable heat under typical conditions.

Behaviour under sustained load

During continuous recording the sensor and IR array remain active, but the passive design keeps temperature rise modest. Image enhancements such as defog, 3DNR and SENSE UP process each frame without throttling. Motion detection, privacy masking and mirror or flip functions operate steadily over long periods.

Questions about this item

How do I install the camera and which step is commonly missed?

Mount the bullet camera, run a coaxial cable to an HD-SDI DVR, and connect the 12V DC power supply; the step often missed is setting the DVR channel to 720P 30FPS HD-SDI so the default signal is recognised.

What maintenance or replacement will this camera need later?

Clean the IR window and lens periodically to keep night vision clear; the 12V DC power supply may need replacement if voltage drifts over time.

What limit appears first during sustained use?

The fixed 3.6mm lens and 720P 30FPS HD-SDI output cap detail and frame rate, so long-range identification hits a ceiling before the sensor or IR range does.
