720p HD-SDI Indoor Dome Camera

This 720p HD-SDI indoor dome camera delivers 1.4 megapixel resolution through a 1/2.9" HD progressive CMOS imager. The 2.8-12mm fixed megapixel lens provides adjustable field of view for indoor surveillance. Twenty-four IR LEDs with 850nm wavelength enable night vision in low-light conditions. It requires an HD-SDI compatible DVR system for operation.

Upgrade from Standard Analog Cameras

This camera replaces standard definition analog cameras by providing 720p HD resolution at 1312 x 740 effective pixels over coaxial cable. The HD-SDI interface transmits video up to 500 feet without quality loss. The jump is worth it when you need high-definition monitoring on existing coaxial infrastructure. True day and night functionality with ICR and smart IR ensures clear footage around the clock.

Verify DVR Compatibility and Power

Before ordering, confirm your DVR system supports HD-SDI input as this camera works only with HD-SDI compatible recorders. Check that your installation can supply 12V DC power to the camera location. Ensure the 2.8-12mm varifocal lens range suits your required viewing angle and distance. The white indoor dome housing is designed for ceiling or wall mounting in interior spaces.

Questions about this item

What size mounting surface does the indoor dome camera require?

The camera uses a standard indoor dome base; check the supplied template for the exact hole pattern before drilling.

How do I connect the 2.8-12mm lens camera to my recorder?

Run a single coaxial cable up to 500 feet from the BNC output to an HD-SDI compatible DVR; the common mistake is using a standard analogue DVR which will not display an image.

When should I clean or replace the 24 IR LEDs that operate at 850nm?

Wipe the dome cover gently when dust reduces night vision clarity; the LEDs themselves are solid-state and do not require scheduled replacement.
