Installation Flexibility

A 2.9-8.2mm focal range lets you adjust the field of view without remounting the camera. Manual zoom and focus rings give precise control, while the video auto iris reacts to lighting changes automatically.

Optical Extras

All-glass aspherical elements reduce aberrations across the aperture range of f/1.0 to 360C. Locking setscrews secure the chosen settings against vibration, and the metal barrel withstands continuous outdoor use.

Questions about this item

What is the closest focus distance of the TG3Z2910AFCS lens?

The lens focuses from .5 m to infinity, so the nearest sharp focus is half a metre from the front element.

Does the auto-iris mechanism add audible noise or extra heat during continuous operation?

The video auto iris is a passive galvanometric drive; it draws negligible power, runs silently and does not generate measurable heat.

Which camera mount and sensor format are required for this lens to function?

It requires a CS-mount camera body with a 1/3″ format sensor; C-mount or larger sensors will not work correctly.
