Product Purpose

The Bluecctv BL-FRAME-B1 is a licence-plate-frame backup camera kit designed for drivers who want a simple rear-view aid when reversing. It connects to a vehicle’s existing display monitor and activates automatically when the transmission is shifted into reverse.

Capacity and Headroom

The camera delivers 420 TV lines of resolution at 628 x 582 pixels under the NTSC television system. Image clarity is adequate for close-range parking manoeuvres but will not satisfy users who need high-definition detail or wide dynamic range in bright sunlight.

Bundled Extras

A swivel mount lets the installer adjust the viewing angle quickly during setup. Wiring is included to tap the reverse-light circuit so the monitor switches on without manual intervention, and on-screen distance markings assist with judging gaps while backing up.

Questions about this item

Will the 628 x 582 pixel camera feed display correctly on my older monitor that only accepts NTSC signals?

Yes, the camera outputs an NTSC signal at 420 TV lines, which matches the input of most legacy vehicle monitors.

How can I verify the 420 TV line resolution is active once the camera is powered from the tail-light circuit?

Engage reverse gear; the monitor should switch on automatically and show the distance-guide graphic, confirming the camera is transmitting.

Does the package include the display monitor and mounting hardware, or do I need to buy them separately?

The set includes the swivelling licence-plate camera and the cables for tail-light power; a compatible monitor and any extra brackets are sold separately.
